How to Connect to a VPN

VPN (virtual private network) is a type of network connection that allows users to access official computer networks from anywhere in the world. This technology is often used when companies allow their employees to work from home, as the employees can have access to the company's computer network from any location. If you need to connect to a VPN, the owner of the VPN will give you the specific login and password information. Then, follow these steps to connect from any computer with Internet access.

Step 1    Click on the "Start" button and select "Control Panel".

Step 2   Choose "Network and Internet Connections" and then "Network Connections".

Step 3  Select "Connect to a Workplace"  and "Next"

Step 4  "Click Use my Internet Connection"

Select 5   Type "Internet Address" (Address or IP) and "Destination Name" (Any Connection Name)
